Ahmedabad, 12 August 2026: Gujarat Arts & Science College, Ahmedabad, had the honour of welcoming Shri Suryabanshi Suraj, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Government of Odisha, along with the Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Odisha, and their team.

During the visit, the dignitaries interacted with the college and took an overview of its academic activities, institutional initiatives and facilities. They also visited the Veer Shahid Vinod Kinariwala Library and took keen interest in its library management, modern facilities, digital resources and student-oriented library services.

The Library team briefed the dignitaries about the various services and facilities available to students and faculty, including the systematic management of library resources and the use of digital resources to support teaching, learning and academic activities.

The dignitaries appreciated the systematic functioning, modern approach and student-oriented services of the Library. Their encouraging appreciation was a valued recognition of the efforts undertaken by the College and the Library to provide effective and contemporary academic support to its users.

The visit provided an enriching opportunity for interaction and exchange of ideas and was a significant occasion for Gujarat Arts & Science College, Ahmedabad.
