As part of the celebration of the Birth Anniversary of renowned Gujarati poet and writer Zaverchand Meghani, the Veer Shahid Vinod Kinariwala Library, Gujarat Arts & Science College, Ahmedabad, organized a “Meghani Vandana” Programme on 25 August 2026 and 27 August 2026.
As part of the programme, a special book display on Zaverchand Meghani was organized in the library. A selection of Meghani’s literary works and books available in the library collection was displayed to familiarize students with his rich literary contribution and legacy.
Students were encouraged to explore and read the displayed books. They also participated in reading and discussion activities, sharing their understanding and observations about Meghani’s literary works and writings.
The programme aimed to promote reading habits, literary awareness and appreciation of Gujarati literature among students and to introduce them to the life, works and literary contribution of Zaverchand Meghani.
