Veer Shahid Vinod Kinariwala Library, Gujarat Arts and Science College, Ahmedabad successfully conducted a One-Month Internship Training Programme for the students of the Department of Library and Information Science, Gujarat University, from 1st June 2026 to 30th June 2026.
The internship programme was organized with the objective of providing practical exposure to Library and Information Science (LIS) students by familiarizing them with modern library operations, automation practices, and day-to-day management of an academic library.

The interns actively participated in the routine functioning of the library and demonstrated sincerity, enthusiasm, teamwork, and a keen interest in learning modern library practices. Their performance throughout the internship was found to be highly satisfactory.
On successful completion of the internship programme, Internship Completion Certificates were awarded to all the participants in recognition of their successful training.
