Veer Shahid Vinod Kinariwala Library of Gujarat Arts and Science College, Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad, organized a training programme for faculty members and staff on the use of RFID Smart Cards and RFID-based automated library services from 8 October 2026 to 12 October 2026.
The programme aimed to provide practical training on the use of RFID Smart Cards and familiarize faculty members and staff with the functioning of the RFID-based automated library system.

A total of 104 faculty members and staff participated in the programme, comprising 34 female staff members and 70 male staff members.
The training covered the use of RFID Smart Cards and practical guidance on RFID-enabled library services. The programme was an important step towards the effective implementation of library automation and the delivery of efficient, technology-enabled library services to the college community.
